There is a seemingly endless supply of podcasts available online, and with Amazon Alexa smart speakers, listening to them has never been easier.
Alexa And Spotify Connect
In the Alexa app, open the left-hand menu (the three horizontal bars in the upper left), and select Settings. Select Music under the Alexa Preferences subheading. Tap on “Log in to Spotify”. If you don’t already have a Spotify account, you can tap on “Sign up for Spotify”. Remember that you’ll need a Spotify Premium subscription for Amazon Echo integration to work. Enter in your Spotify username and password, and then tap on “Log in”. Here's how you can get started. How To Play Spotify On Alexa
If you want Spotify to be your default music player on Alexa, this is a quick adjustment. Open Alexa and do the following: 1) Tap the menu button on the top left of the Alexa app and choose Settings. 2) Under Alexa Preferences, pick Music & Podcasts. Amazon’s TuneIn platform allows you to listen to many podcasts directly on your Alexa-enabled device.

While you can’t search for a specific podcast on your Amazon Echo, you can search on Amazon’s InTune website, or any other audio platform, and then request the podcast by name on your Alexa-enabled device.

How to listen to podcasts on Alexa
Alexa’s default podcast streaming service is Amazon InTune.
Spotify android app id. To listen to a random podcast on Alexa, you can say «Alexa play a podcast,» though with the diversity of topics and hosts there is no guarantee you’ll like it.

You can also listen to Spotify or Apple podcasts on your Amazon Echo or Echo Dot, once you’ve connected Spotify or Apple Podcasts to Alexa.
Just like with InTune, you can find a podcast you want to listen to on Spotify or Apple Music and then ask Alexa to play it by name.
On Spotify, for example, you can also create a playlist of some of your favorite podcasts, and then ask Alexa to play that specific playlist.

- Enter your Spotify account details.
Set Spotify as your default service for music and podcasts so you don’t need to specify “on Spotify” at the end of your voice commands to play music:
- Tap the menu in the top-left.
- Tap Settings, then Music & Podcasts.
- Tap Choose default music services.
Note: To set Spotify as your default podcast service, tap Choose default podcast service. - Select Spotify and tap DONE.
